Kinder Rratte
"Kinder Rratte" is a fictional German imported sour cherry liqueur brand. My main focus on this project was to create an original high tier alcohol brand that incorporates its origin's folklore in an elegant but clever way for its 50th anniversary. As the story goes, the pied piper of Hamelin is hired by townspeople to lure rats out of town to drown in the Weser river. But when the townspeople refuse to pay him for his services, the piped piper takes revenge by luring children of the town to the same fate as the rats. This unexpected twist ending to an innocent story is similar to how childlike cherry flavors & color can mask the actuality of dark liqueur. The name “Kinder Rratte” roughly translates to “Rat Children” in German. All Illustrations and hand lettering drawn by myself. Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Procreate
